Chairman of Grandtowers Limited and respected business leader, Nze Chidi Duru (OON), has lauded the creative prowess of young Nigerian filmmakers following the premiere of Forever in a Flash, a new film directed by Mr. Tanure Akpoke.
The premiere, which took place on May 12, 2025 at the University of Abuja, attracted key figures from the business and entertainment sectors, as well as students and film enthusiasts. Duru, who attended the event to support Akpoke—a longtime friend—praised the movie’s overall execution, describing it as “top-notch” and a powerful testament to the evolving talents within Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
Speaking after the screening, Duru highlighted the film’s impressive scripting, directing, costumes, soundtrack, cinematography, and thematic depth. “The quality of this production is a strong indication of what young Nigerians are capable of achieving on the global stage,” he said.
He noted that his presence at the event aligns with his ongoing commitment to support the dreams and creativity of Nigerian youth, particularly those working to break through in competitive global industries like film and entertainment.
“The premiere of this movie has further reinforced my unwavering belief in the potential of Nigerian youth to achieve great things,” Duru added.
